If you want to sell your products and services globally, then you will have more opportunities to make money – but selling your products globally is more difficult. This is why it is very important to know everything about online marketing. The best way however, to sell your product online is by distributing your job amongst other people. Such people who carry out the job of marketing other people’s businesses are known as affiliates and this is affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is about creating awareness of your product with the help of affiliates. These affiliates in turn will get a percentage of commission on the overall sales made through them.

Here are a few don’ts to affiliate marketing:
  1. Never end your customer’s curiosity about your product on your site only, keep something for the merchant’s site as well. Retain your customers right till the end of the page by listing your benefits so that they get interested enough to click on the affiliate links to find out more about your products and services.
  2. Never spam, or else you’ll find yourself getting blacklisted.
  3. Never join just any affiliate program. Many of these programs are frauds. Join only the established ones.
  4. Never ever waste time.
